If you’ve done a web search on the name ”InstantAV,” chances are you’ve come across a reference to “Instant-AV.co.uk.” Rest assured, this is NOT us–not now, not ever.
Apparently, a couple of years ago a company in the UK set up and operated under the name Instant-AV. Unfortunately, they were operating a scam, and after a month of defrauding customers, they were shut down. However, because of their infamy and the number of people and companies they cheated, there was a lot of Internet chatter about them and their name appears frequently in Internet searches using the name “InstantAV.” Aside from the unfortunate similarity in names, there is absolutely no relationship whatsoever between the UK company and ours. We think the name InstantAV tells our story, so we’ve gone with it despite the erroneous association it invites with the guys from the UK.
We’re a startup company, so we can’t register yet with the BBB, but we fully intend to once we’ve been in operation for a while and we have a history we can point to. Until then, we invite you to check up on our founders and see the sterling reputation and history of success they bring with them to the new InstantAV. Talk with anyone they’ve done business with in the past–you’ll see we’re as good as our word, and we’re a company you can absolutely count on.
